Sin embargo, para muchos, la falta de acceso a una educaci\u00f3n de calidad y a oportunidades econ\u00f3micas crea barreras dif\u00edciles de superar. \u00bfPero cu\u00e1l es una herramienta muy \u00fatil para derribar esas barreras? La ense\u00f1anza del ingl\u00e9s.<\/p><p>En One, Two\u2026Tree!, creemos que ense\u00f1ar ingl\u00e9s a j\u00f3venes no se trata solo de gram\u00e1tica y vocabulario. Se trata de empoderar a los j\u00f3venes a trav\u00e9s de la educaci\u00f3n, ayud\u00e1ndolos a adquirir la confianza, las habilidades y las oportunidades que necesitan para forjar su propio futuro.<\/p><p>El ingl\u00e9s es m\u00e1s que un idioma global. Para muchos j\u00f3venes en pa\u00edses como Guatemala, representa acceso:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Acceso a mejores empleos<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Acceso a la educaci\u00f3n superior<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Acceso a la cultura y la comunicaci\u00f3n globales<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>En un mundo cada vez m\u00e1s conectado, saber ingl\u00e9s abre puertas que de otro modo permanecer\u00edan cerradas. Puede marcar la diferencia entre un trabajo peor remunerado, vulnerable a las fluctuaciones del mercado o del entorno, y oportunidades m\u00e1s estables y mejor pagadas en el turismo, los negocios o la educaci\u00f3n. Por lo tanto, el ingl\u00e9s puede ser una herramienta poderosa para construir un futuro m\u00e1s pr\u00f3spero y seguro.<\/p><h3><strong>Por qu\u00e9 los j\u00f3venes estudiantes son un p\u00fablico fundamental\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3><p>La adolescencia es una etapa crucial en la vida de una persona. Es un tiempo de descubrimiento, toma de decisiones y grandes sue\u00f1os. Por eso, uno de los principales objetivos de One, Two\u2026Tree! es la ense\u00f1anza del ingl\u00e9s a ni\u00f1os y adolescentes, ofreciendo educaci\u00f3n en ingl\u00e9s gratuita y accesible a los j\u00f3venes durante estos a\u00f1os formativos.<\/p><p>Al entrar en la adolescencia, nuestros alumnos empiezan a pensar m\u00e1s seriamente en su futuro. Quiz\u00e1s quieran ir a la universidad, solicitar becas, trabajar en el sector tur\u00edstico o incluso convertirse en profesores de ingl\u00e9s. Al dotarlos de conocimientos de ingl\u00e9s desde peque\u00f1os, les ayudamos a desarrollar la confianza y la capacidad necesarias para seguir estos caminos.<\/p><h3><strong>Construyendo futuros a trav\u00e9s del ingl\u00e9s: Historias de nuestros estudiantes\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3><p>Muchos de nuestros estudiantes provienen de zonas rurales o de entornos con escasos recursos. Esto brinda a nuestros estudiantes una oportunidad \u00fanica de aprender de hablantes nativos o con dominio fluido del ingl\u00e9s, una experiencia poco com\u00fan en las escuelas rurales.<\/p><h3><strong>Desarrollar la capacidad local\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3><p>Tambi\u00e9n ofrecemos formaci\u00f3n a profesores locales que desean mejorar su ingl\u00e9s y, con el tiempo, ense\u00f1arlo ellos mismos. Esto multiplica el impacto y garantiza que los beneficios de la ense\u00f1anza del ingl\u00e9s perduren en el futuro.<\/p><h2><strong>Los voluntarios y su impacto en el empoderamiento juvenil a trav\u00e9s de la educaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2><h3><strong>Los voluntarios como modelos a seguir\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3><p>Nuestros programas de ingl\u00e9s no ser\u00edan posibles sin la dedicaci\u00f3n de nuestros voluntarios internacionales y locales. Y lo que es a\u00fan m\u00e1s importante, se convierten en modelos a seguir, demostrando a los estudiantes lo que se puede lograr con esfuerzo, curiosidad y confianza.<\/p><h3><strong>Un intercambio bidireccional\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3><p>Los voluntarios suelen decir que reciben tanto como dan. Establecen v\u00ednculos profundos con las comunidades a las que sirven y se marchan con una nueva perspectiva sobre el poder de la educaci\u00f3n.<\/p><h2><strong>Superar las barreras para el empoderamiento juvenil a trav\u00e9s de la ense\u00f1anza del ingl\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2><p>Por supuesto, existen desaf\u00edos. Muchos estudiantes deben compaginar los estudios con el trabajo o las responsabilidades familiares. Algunos carecen de acceso a internet fiable o a materiales de estudio. Las escuelas p\u00fablicas suelen tener financiaci\u00f3n insuficiente e intentan abarcar mucho con recursos limitados.<\/p><p>Por eso, organizaciones comunitarias como One, Two\u2026Tree! son importantes. Intervenimos para cubrir las necesidades, garantizando que incluso quienes cuentan con menos recursos puedan aprender, crecer y so\u00f1ar.<\/p><p>Aun as\u00ed, el futuro se presenta prometedor.
